Edge of Space – What We Think. Even the developers of Terraria think so; there are already numerous official crossovers, like the transformation of Skeletron into the Edge of Space boss Omegatron, and more are planned. In its current state, though, it’s by turns addictive and aggravating.

In a series of upcoming updates, Edge of Space - the sandbox survival adventure from developer Handyman Studios - will get a battle with Omegatron (Terraria’s Skeletron boss), an Easter egg appearance from Terraria's ReDigit, and a Terraria pet. The Omegatron fight will be playable at PAX this weekend, but players can also look forward to more content when the crossover happens this fall.

How much will the bonus content cost you? Content patches for Edge of Space will include the content at no charge.

They are a great group of passionate developers and I am glad to get to know them, and it could turn out to be one of the best sci-fi games in the genre.'

'We are really excited to have this crossover content and we have some cool stuff planned,' said Jake Crane, lead designer and founder of HandyMan Studios. 'Terraria has been a great inspiration for those developers creating massive, open worlds that put players in control of their destiny.' Terraria is out now on various platforms, and Edge of Space is currently in its soft launch beta period (the game is on PC and Mac).
