After Burner II: Now with more throttle!

To do:
Everything here.

Name Entry Reserved Names

To do:
Verify every single one in real arcade, might need verification on both new and old versions.

There are four names that, when entered, it'll trigger some special effects.

  1. T.K (one of the developers; identity unknown.)
Causes the game to print I LOVE KIYOMI in yellow above the high score table.
Causes the game to overwrite every single name entry on the high score table.

Hidden Messages

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: 'I Love Momoko' is apparently used; find the button combination.

There's code in the game to display four hidden messages, but just like in the first game, the way this routine is coded (see the notes page) makes them inaccessible again. Place this code in MAME's aburner2.xml cheat file to fix this.

Next, lose all of your lives and get to the 'Continue Play' screen. Then, press Vulcan 4 times and Missile 2 times. After that, press the Vulcan button the appropriate number of times (the number of presses changes what message you'll get), insert coin(s), and continue the game.
